Throughout April, The Pursuit is breaking free from the things we're "Hooked" on!
Hooked
is all about the stuff that we can't get free from. Meanwhile it's
destroying our lives. We're not just talking about the obvious
addictions. Anytime there's a pattern in our lives that is hurting
ourselves or someone else and we can't break free, we're hooked. It
might be a relational problem. It might be an attitude or a way of
thinking. It might be a substance. Whatever it is, God wants to set us free.
April 6: "Leaving Ignorance for Awareness"
Big Idea: God wants to free us from the patterns, habits, and compulsions that enslave us.
April 13: "Leaving Control for Faith"
Big Idea: I give up control of my life and have faith that God can and will set me free.
April 20: "Leaving Perversion for Beauty"
April 27: "Leaving Addiction for Healing"
Big Idea: Healing means being made whole, living life fully and completely.
